faded interior??

Post by Dalton2510 »

so i just bought my bonneville and the previous owner must have had a fuzz buster (radar detector) and they had it right on the dash right by where the window meets it. So it was way up there and they left the stupid double sided sticky foam up there... it was a really eye sore i didnt have any goo gone so i used this other stuff called goof off and it took of like a coat of vinyl paint? or whatever covers the dash and its all faded in like one baseball size spot there now... I was just wondering if anyone knew of anything that would possibly refinish the dash so its all one color again. if not i was thinking maybe i could just take that goof off and rub that whole part of the dash so its all faded down a shade so you can't even tell??? :dontknow:

try shoe polish that you can find the same color of your dash . other than that idk .

did you try like armor all ? probaly looks good for a day than the armor wears off and ull see it again ?

that goo off is Very abrasive it eats everything including plastic . :sadeyz:
