Looks like I completely forgot to add some directions in here. I am sure that everyone that will be here knows how to get here anyways, but just in case...

The dates have changed from the 9th and 10th to the 8th through the 11th. There are a few people that have expressed interest in coming out on Friday and leaving Monday afternoon.... As you can imagine it was really hard to get me to take Friday off

Well, our first attempt at a race day during the Michigan meet earlier this year was rained out. The weekend of October 9th and 10th will be the REVENGE day!

I am not sure who all will be able to make it back out again for the weekend, but I do know that there is a group from New York that should be here.

SO.... lets get some people together for this!

Race day will be Sunday the 10th from 11 AM - 5 PM, cost is $10 to spectate, $20 to race. You must be over 18 to race unless you have parental consent via a written / signed note.
You must wear regular shoes and socks, as well as long pants (no shorts)
If you run 13.99 or quicker, you must have a SNELL approved helmet, I doubt that anyone will run quicker then 12.99, so I won't go into those rules.


Looks like a few people want to show up Friday, so I will be taking Friday off work so somebody is here when people start to show Make sure you are here for Saturday, likely go out to eat (Buffalo Wild Wings, Logans Roadhouse, Bennigan's, Damon's etc..) set up a little country cruise and hope it don't rain again Drinks Saturday night, likely to be a great time based on past meets Wake up somewhat early Sunday morning, have a great hangover curing breakfast and head to the track. People can leave from the track, or head back to our house, I won't leave for work until about 2 PM Monday, so people are welcome to stay Sunday night as well if they wish.

I should have some issues straightened out on the Cutlass by then and BETTER run quicker then a 14.049

EXCELLENT! This falls under Thanksgiving long weekend for us Canucks, we get the Monday off. So for me I would probably head to MI right after work on Friday afternoon and be there by night.

Barring some sort of Bonneville problem (my front end is really pissing me off right now), I'm in.

I wasn't planning on returning this year but...Time-wise I think I could pull this off. Leave Friday afternoon after class. Which would put me at your place Saturday morning between 5-7am. Don't have classes on Monday, so I can head back Monday morning be back late that night get some sleep and then ready for class at 1pm Tuesday.

I'm already going! lol

But we'll have to see where the green stuff is when the date gets closer.

Man, I swear, my luck is just about that good...

I was getting super excited about the opportunity to actually go to a meet and meet some of you folks in person and hang out.

My SIL is getting married the 9th.

Sigh, maybe next time.

The Party Chicks from NY will definitely be there! We're all skippn work/school on Friday so we can drive out and be there friday night... we will be leaving Monday morning and claim floor space. Not going to bother setting up the tent this time....we never used it the last time.

and... ...i may actually drive the Bonneville this time! Yes it is BACK in my driveway and my daughter now drives it... she's old and tired though so i don't think i'll be racing her.... but maybe... maybe just a couple times... ahh.... it depends on how she's running...

I'm still not sure, but I did find out I have Fall Break 9th-12th, so I'll have no problem with the time. Whatever mid-terms should be done before the break too.

Well now that the girls are going I'm tempted.

I will be there for sure, that is why the girls are coming

I tenatively plan to go, not sure if I'll bring the Bonneville, or the truck. I have a friend that may want to bring his SRT-8 Jeep.

oooo we can race the Jeeps then if we drive out in Linda's again...

This is gonna be one dangerously fun weekend

Yeah it's crazy...and here I was thinking I still had two weekends before the meet!

Yeah, it creeps up WAY fast. Bad news though, Liz has confirmed that she won't be able to make it. School work and her position in a supervisory role in the dorms = no leaving campus. :(

Myself, I'm mostly likely leaving early Saturday morning. Let's hope the border co-operates...

Haha. Planning to leave Friday evening/night and get up there Saturday morning, then head out Monday morning. Frost is still planning to drive up too, and I think another friend of mine wants to come, but not sure yet.
