LIM/UIM torque specs

Post by rockit-man »

Hello again. Doing a LIM gasket, having a little troubles with torque specs. I torqued the LIM to 89 in/lbs yesterday, and something just didnt seem right with the plastic upper being the same torque. I checked techinfo and it states a value for intake manifold, but does not differentiate between lower and upper. After some more searching I think that 89 in/lbs for the upper and 11 ft/lbs for the lower is what I was looking for. Can anybody verify this for me? Also, since I have allready applied lock tite and torqued the bolts yesterday, do I need to remove all bolts, clean and re- lock-tite all of my bolts, or can I just continue torquing to spec?

You will need to remove, clean, re-apply loc tite once dried.

And yes the lower intake is 11ft/lbs.
