where to get an owner's manual

like the title says where can i get an owner's manual and the maintenance manual the car didnt come with any of the orig papers ?

FSM will need to be purchased, usually good sets will turn up on ebay in time at a reasonable price.

Anyone have any experience with the FSM DVDs found on eBay that claim they have everything and more than the OEM service manuals?

Kinda sketchy I think. Friend of mine got one. We never could get it to work. Gave it to an IT friend, and he got it to run, but I don't remember how good it was.

I have it installed on 3 computers. Only one copy still works. It can be tempermental. It generally covers from '96 to '05 and has more information on the recent years.

Hey thanks thats really helpfull, but other then ebay where can i get my hands on a hard copy so if iam ever out somewhere or on a trip and i dont have access to a computer

Could try a dealer, but that's doubtful. You'll have to wait for one to come up on e-bay. Not too much I've ever needed from an owners manual on a trip, though.

I got a service manual on ebay. It has a ton of good info but it is clearly for experienced techs. The illustrations are drawings and there not very detailed. No pictures. Here is exactly what I bought and who I got it from
american_workshop has sent a question about item #130382020748, that ended on May-09-10 06:12:36 PDT - 03 04 05 PONTIAC BONNEVILLE SERVICE REPAIR MANUAL OEM!
It also has an owners manual on the DVD. I paid 25.00 so it was worth the risk. and when I got it it was deffinetly worth the money. It came with good install instructions and a number to call for help.

J/K. I saw the real deal on eBay recently. Not DVD but the actual GM FSM. But it was only volumes 2 and 3, and now it looks like they sold one of them. I did also find another seller selling a brand new set, but he wants over $100 for them. I may get one of the DVD ones just cuz it will probably be more than I need it for and they're reasonably priced. There are some that specify in the ad that they don't expire like some of the 'other DVDs' and there was even one that claims to work on 64-Bit Windows 7, which is what I would want.

i guess i will just print it out on the computer. i feel stupid because the GM nationals where in carlisle over the weekend and i didnt even think about going there to look for one and a few parts
