It's no Pontiac, but it's pretty nice. The problem is Lisa is spoiled, and already has supercharger envy. But it's more about the sporty look than anything for her.
FIVE 3800's in this picture, and I've been under the hoods of all of them:

Well, it goes without saying that I approve.

Long story. We just needed something to get by after the Fusion sold, while we shop for what we really want. It was a good opportunity to get a car in need of a flip.
He probably will, knowing Paul. He's re-stocked my bar on more than one occasion.
Update on the LeSabre:
De-gunked the motor with three cans, 2 underneath and one from above in an effort to pinpoint the leak. In the last 36 hours, the car has only dripped one or two drops from the passenger side of the oil pan gasket oil filter area. Should be easy to find now. Much less severe than it looked at first. I have a new oil pan gasket already, and will probably end up using it. Valve covers were showing a normal amount of grime, and may simply need to be re-torqued. I have new plugs to install simply because I don't know the age or condition of the current plugs. Wires are OEM and are in great condition. O2 sensor will be evaluated on the first couple tanks of fuel we put through it.
Trans fluid looks pretty good, enough to leave it alone for now, but I still need to flush out all the nasty Dex and replace it with something I feel better about. UIM is AC Delco, but from 2006, and the LIM gaskets are already aluminum (a big point in purchasing this car). Car runs great, brakes are fine, tires are mismatched F-R, but in good condition.
The only other little issues are that I want to re-cover the cloth C-Pillar trim (that'll be a DIY job if the wrecker doesn't have good ones), replace the hood lift supports (both are weak), and replace the Left mirror glass. Everything else on and in the car works great.
Lisa's JVC HU, bluetooth hands-free, and iPod dock (one of the docks I custom machined a couple years ago) go in the car today after work, possibly with a wire-around solution for the steering wheel temperature controls.

look up into the flywheel cavity, look see if the end cover gasket isn't the leak. the oil from there will travel around the pan gasket and drip where it finds the lowest point.
The drip is on the opposite end from there. It's on the passenger side of the motor near the timing cover/oil filter adapter. But most likely the pan gasket.

meaning it could start at the rear and travel to the front by way of the pan gasket.
