Re: CD player.
Pioneer's Premier line is their higher-optioned line. Usually it has more features, more volts on the preamp output for your amp, etc. You'd have to put the 2 side by side and look.

As a former tech at a Pioneer master service center, I can tell you that the Premier line will have an identical non-Premier model that usually has different plastics on the front, or possibly a different color. In all other respects, they are identical, except the Premier unit will cost more and come with a 2 year warranty, vs the lower cost and 1 year warranty for the non-Premier model.
As one example, my own DEH-P480MP is a Premier unit, and my backup radio is the non-Premiere DEH-P4800MP. The color of the 4800 is slightly silvery, where the color of the 480 is more charcoal. Other than that and the cost and the warranty, they are identical.
At least with mine, neither turned out to be problem-free, the 480 went to the shop -twice- to fix a problem where the faceplate buttons would stop functioning and the display would go out. The 4800 had bad rear line outputs. Both problems were caused by cracked solder joints, and have been problem-free after their last repairs.
My advice: I would not personally pay extra for the word "Premiere" on my radio, unless the 2 year warranty for the added expense is worth it to you. (Buying with my VISA card doubles all mfr. warranties up to one extra year, at no extra cost.) If a Premiere model has a color that is more compelling than its non-Premiere counterpart, then by all means go for it if the extra cost is not a concern. Sometimes extra cost is not a factor, if you're buying used through eBay and such.

Re: CD player.
Thanks for the advice on the differance bewteen the 2 I been wondering that since if I looked at the specs and they seem to of had the same ones lol...
The problem with mine is the display keeps going out on me and not it wont turn back on at all. but if i could keep it on long enough to have the motorized face plate fold down then it would stay on the whole time in till I turn it off and it goes back up the store position.
Now if I would want to fix it.
1 it should be cheaper to fix then a new one right?
2. Would you have an idea where I could get it fixed?
Thanks

Re: CD player.
When it comes to the cost to repair -vs- replace, it really depends on the price and quality of the unit you have that needs repair, -vs- the cost of the unit you'd buy to replace it.
For my repairs I used http://www.radiomedics.com/ and they did excellent work for a reasonable price. I called first and set up a service case number, then shipped my radio to them for repair. They're in California, but that's where I am. You could certainly use them, but you may also find a shop that's closer to you.
