It's my weekend to break things...

Post by LeSabre in Buffalo »

So Thursday night my bike gets a flat and my cell phone screen goes white. Today I hit the brake pedal to start pulling out of my parking spot when it goes down to the floor along with a "PSSSSHT" sound. Okay... I get out, look underneath the car, and there's a puddle of brake fluid underneath the right rear wheel. :angry7: Naturally this is the longest brake line on the car. I don't have the time to DIY, so it's headed to the Firestone that bothered to pick up the phone tomorrow. I'm not a fan of Firestone, but they're about the only shop open Sunday. :angry4: I'm guessing they'll tell me it will need both rear brake lines replaced to the ABS unit, wheel cylinders, and new rubber hoses in the rear. And recommend replacing the front lines. All for about, well, a lot. Oh well, that's what my rainy day fund is for. :???:

I was waiting for the 3rd thing to break this weekend. I hope the car was it!
