95 ssei stalls while driving
Not sure what is going on. There has been a few times now that I can be driving along at normal speeds (highway or city) all seems normal, car will sputter and stall. I can shut the car off, restart and be fine.I have replaced coil packs, plugs , wires, checked ECM, computer, relays, and now started on sensors. I can not find any problems so far, but every now and then it will do it. Anyone experiance anything like this? Any sujestions?

may be fuel related have you changed fuel filter or checked regulator

Re: 95 ssei stalls while driving
The only time the car has done this is when it gets up to normal running temp. The "check engine" light comes on all the time but the last time I checked for codes, all I got was codes for the cruise control that does not work and has been left turned off. There has been a time that the traction control turned itself off, abs light came on and car ran rough. The only thing I am left thinking is that I did not detect the problem with the computer and it is acting up. Not sure if I am thinking right.

You may be on the right track with the PCM...
The Cruise control codes usually do not set the SES light..
Short of the crank sensor I would look at the PCM as the culprit.. Before you do that tho check and clean all of the grounds on the passenger side foot well...

I just had this same exact problem with my 98. Turned out to be TPS and Crankshaft Sensor. Problem fixed.

Re: 95 ssei stalls while driving
The 94-95 PCMs had plenty of reliability problems. I chased down similar problems for over 6 months before changing the PCM and it fixed everything. Did your car "flip out" and the traction and abs lights come on together with the chimes? Mine did that but it didn't aftect the car in any way. This was after a new PCM.

Re: 95 ssei stalls while driving
When the car has stalled on me, there does not seem to be any warning. Guages flop, lights all come on and the car stalls.
On the weekend, the traction control turned itself off, the abs light came on and the car kept driving normal. A couple of miles up the road, the traction control came back on and the abs light went out. The check engine light seems to be coming on any time I drive the car now. Just after the car gets warmed up, the light comes on.
Is the PCM from any other year campatable with a 95? Would this maybe be a way to have it be more reliable?

Re: 95 ssei stalls while driving
Gentlemen
Holy cow, I have the same issue right now with my '99 SSEi. ABS and Traction Control light on. Stalls or runs sluggish. Just changed the fuel filter (not the problem) and checked the coils/wires/plugs (Good to Go). I was leaning towards the fuel pump until I read this. Also, I had codes read on it today; P0300 Random Cylinder Missing (or something like that).
Could mine also be the PCM? Also PCM, Primary Control Module?
Input is greatly appreciated.
Thanks
