Hello all. Im having a recurring issue in my right axle.
In Feb I had it replaced. Then returned last month as it was leaking Tranny fluid out of the joint where the axle inserts into the differential. They have gone through 2 seals thinking that is the issue (its not).
We are not able to find any code for a different axle for the turbo charged SSEi.
When the car is on the lift you can see the tranny fluid coming out where the shaft inserts into the diff.
Pep Boys is calling out for part number CV 3807, they have used a car quest XBO 10216 axle. All are the same dimensions and all leak. Oh and of course the OEM parts are discontinued.
Anyone gone through this or have any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Um, first off, you have a supercharged 3.8.
I have a feeling that it's something in the differential that's leaking the fluid, not the axle.

You can damage the seal if you arent careful sliding the CV shaft into the Diff

You also need to make sure they didn't gouge the housing when removing the old one too. Also check for cracks in the housing.
