Re: WCBF begins in Corvallis....
Now that's what I am talking about...these vids allow me to be there with everyone especially the second one with the modding discussion. It looks like everyone is having a great time and I am jazzed for everyone. Wish I was there with y'all but I hope one of you can run down the strip for us. Just keep those videos coming!!

2000 SSEi (Silver Eagle) cleared corners (before accident) new LIM gasket, drilled 180 T-stat, new plugs and wires, new valve cover gaskets, new Supercharger gasket, third brake light overlay. Hopefully soon to start more mods for performance. Also, 2005 White SE totally stock and will remain that way!

Thank you Bob & Vince for your hard work and kindness!!

2KSB's exhaust is no cat (not required in BC), Headers, 3" downpipe, 3" intermediate to a 3" Y and two open mufflers.
Neil, wish you could have made it, but you participated with Vince and Echo on their way up.
Thanks for the conference call last night!
(we were a little drunk in that modding discussion in the second vid, that was the culmination of 2 long days of work tearing a motor down on the Zilla and putting it back together after 4 months of downtime).

Re: WCBF begins in Corvallis....
2 hours? You guys get stuff done really fast! I watched my neighbor work on his Mazda, and it took him 2 hours per strut. I guess I need to do my struts soon. I finally got to see the second WCBF video, and it's really good. Wren, you sound like a Western movie narrator.
I'm surprised more videos from you aren't in Western style with cheesy narration.
So, did his wife ride in the car, sober, and will the 2000 get a cam?
Not that I'm really able to tell, but I think that long conversation at the end was booze talking.

1 view? You didn't watch your own video.
Eh, I guess you've seen it. That looks amazing. The beach looked great, and the drive to it must have been a little bit too much fun.

The first view was me
I just checked his profile, it's been on there for awhile he just took a long time to post the link
Next WCBF i'll just somehow find you guys driving around, and casually speed past you, then i'll go home because i wouldn't be able to stay because of my stupid work.

Re: WCBF begins in Corvallis....
Traction was the issue all day long. 60's were just crappy all the way around drags or street tires. Near the end of the night a little rubber was getting put down and I started to significantly drop my 60' times as well as E/Ts. We all got in at least 15-20 runs each but we could have all doubled that easily if we wanted to just hot lap it all night. Even though I drove 450 miles and then went straight to the track I would do it again in a heartbeat. It was so much fun, weather was great and everything ran pretty smoothly.

Re: WCBF begins in Corvallis....
Yesterday morning Celine (id97gtp) texted me from her hotel that her motor wasn't 'sitting right'. She and Keven brought their twin red GTP's over yesterday morning and Taylor (TPulliam79) and I dove in with them. Motor was shifted and twisted to the rear passenger side.
Replaced that mount (it's a bitch, right under the timing cover on a W-body) and then I diagnosed a bad outer nosedrive bearing. Everyone else had to go to the KOA to pack for the track, so we stayed behind and swapped on Pdad/Pmom's old Gen3 nosedrive (left over here from the GenV swap on Bone-Evil).
Tracy (Singscountry1967) and Dave stayed behind at the end with us. We finished the work, cleaned up quickly, and set off in a 4-car caravan through Albany to try to catch the main caravan to the dragstrip that had already left the KOA. Zilla, Tracy/Dave in the rental, and both Red GTP's. As we merged onto I-5 in Albany, I looked over to the freeway to my left and there was a line of Bonnevilles as far as I could see. We merged into the pack perfectly. It was a thing of beauty.
The Zilla had cooling issues on the way there (I think due to the front intercooler core blocking flow) so Celine and Keven covered my ass on the way back from the track last night to return the favor. Gotta fix that today.
Gotta thank Pdad and Pmom for the nosedrive, as well as for pitching in with a very fast pulley swap during the change. Taylor and GXP_Vince for the work that was going on under the Zilla's hood while we worked on the GTP.
The teamwork at the track was even better. Everyone really comes together.
It was AWESOME to see Celine and Keven just tear that car apart with our crew. They work very well together, and we got the car to the track on time and running GREAT.
Today is an off-day for small jobs, then back to the Track on Saturday morning for competition. We have a surprise driver lined up for the SLEeper.
