I also know what dryrot is. It is like rust but for rubber and plastic. Do you guys have that up there?

This winter was NOT nice to my bonnie... last fall, practically zero rust anywhere.. now I have a bunch. Barrie uses WAY too much salt.

Re: Ugh, rust.
Mine's getting POR-15'd this summer. Should be fun, in the "thankfully I'm doing this now so it lasts a few more years" kind of fun.
Already spoke with the place I'm buying the rocker panels from. I'm getting slip-on style, as they can likely be riveted/JB Welded on instead of welded. I don't have access to a welder, and don't know how to use one anyhow.

Re: Ugh, rust.
Ed, any chance you could meet me in, say, Wisconsin? I have a place to stay out there, LOL!
Being back in Buffalo, I'm seeing LeSabres with rockers in far worse shape than mine. I still want to have new metal on there so I'm not driving an obvious rust-bucket.
Transmission issues may overtake the rust-fixing. The blasted early-run 4T65 is acting up again. Ugh, another $80 in fluid and filter I don't have...
