Re: MurderMitten's 2000 Bonneville SLE
Well, I'm here to update since I haven't been on for a while.
So since my last update I've replaced:
-Oil PSI sensor
-Front Pads and Rotors
-Flowmaster Super 44 Mufflers
-GXP Quad Tips
-GXP Vents and Peddles
-ZZP 1.0 PCM Tune
-Stock Floor Mats
Yup I think that's it, now time for pictures, enjoy!
Little Engine Bay cleaning

Got some GXP vents, not all of them so I currently have 2/5 wrapped. The two passenger vents and rear center console vent are GXP, soon to be vinyl wrapped because I like them better that way.

Some wheel polishing

GXP Pedals

GXP Quad Tips with FlowMaster Super 44's

Added some carbon fiber stripes

Now just some sexy shots

Those better not be HIDs in your low beams!
Otherwise the car looks pretty nice. The CF wrapping looks great on the vents.

I'll upload more pics of the process and final product soon. I also just buffed and polished the whole car, detailed the interior and refreshed the calipers by painting them black

Re: MurderMitten's 2000 Bonneville SLE *UPDATED*
Wow it's been a while since I've been on I'll have to update with some pics soon but lately I've put a little work into the bon
-Got two new tires because I thought the tire was shot when I had a flat but next day my brand new tire was flat and I found out my rim corroded 3 pinholes in the barrel... So I got a new rim and have four good tires for winter >:)
-Fixed my sunroof drains after much water getting everywhere...
-Fixed the small pinhole in my spare tire area, sanded it down and painted it with rust resistant paint and filled the hole with a metal patch and silicon sealant.
-Fixed my exhaust tips from sticking out four feet so now they look normal and they're sunk in
Whats in store!
-So since I'm a snowboarder and take regular trips up north with four people I decided taking my subs out, taking bindings off boards, packing the trunk full to the top and all that hassle. I bought a Yakima Q-Tower system. Despite people disliking the look of a bonne with a roof rack I'll be rocking one for the winter to tow my boards around so I'll upload pictures once it's on and see what you all think
-My current projectors are really crappy, not big enough projectors and the cutoff line is meh, so some Morimoto H1's are on the way to spruce up the headlights and the apparent fog light projectors in my headlights are moving to my fog lights
-I want some mud flaps too...
That's all for now, I'll try to upload some pics soon of all of this work!

Re: MurderMitten's 2000 Bonneville SLE *UPDATED*
Update time! I'll start in order from when the updates happened
03+ style cupholders

HID's in the foglights. They are a bit bright but I have Morimoto H1's in the mail. So I will be removing the fog projectors from my headlights and retrofitting them into my fog lights. Then the H1's into my headlights. I will be getting new reflective bowls and redoing the cutting and fitting and clearing the corners so they're all "euro"

New front rotors and pads. Painted the inner and outer edge of the rotors and painted all four calipers black

Car Porn

Backed into someone in August

After much rubbing compound and wax.. not close to perfect, but better

Fixed the exhaust tips so they're not sticking out four feet

Now here are some pictures of the roof rack.

Buffed and waxed the fairing

I bought the system used and actually used the q clips that came on them from a different car and heated them up and bent/cut/granded them to the specs of the clips designed for the bonneville.
Yakima Q Tower system with Q49(home made, but Q49 is the clip for the bonneville)
Yakima 48" Fat Crossbars
Yakima Fairing
I will be fabricating a custom board holder instead of buying the expensive ones from Yakima. I'm hoping to be able to fit four boards but three for sure. Will post pics then!
Lastly probably one of my favorite booty shots of my car

Love the car. I'm glad you fixed the tips! Can't wait to see your new retro.
Gotta polish up those tail lights though.

Okay, got the new retrofit done last week but I've been busy
Current set up is Morimoto H1's with Gatlin Gun shrouds and DDM tuning 5000K 55W bulbs
Sorry I forgot to take pictures so I had to screenshot some of my snapchats

Decided to clear the corners, the tinted ambers were too dark and I am starting to like the chrome in the lights that match the rest of the chrome on the car

Nice fall shot.......*dang* gurl

Got any more shots of the retro? It's awesome that you got the projector attached to the reflector so you can still aim them. I assume you had to cut a bunch.. Very jelly!
She looks *dang* good.

I'll try to get some light output pics and all that, Theyre a little crooked so I have some slanted cutoffs, not sure if I'll take them apart to fix them because you can only see it up against a wall, on the road theyre fine. But actually I can aim them quite a bit up and down. Yeah I did a lot of dremeling and cutting haha

Getting the aim right is the worst part of a retro.

Just wondering but are you clipping your roof rack into the rain gutter or the door jamb on your Bonneville? I am looking at the same set up for my Bonneville. I didn't think the 48" poles would fit. Thanks!
