Busy day.....arrivals today were the Jshelton54's (4) and the Bugsi's (4). Not sure how many cars and people now, but probably about half expected? 3 more cars coming from Idaho, another from Canada......3 from Washington still due.


Starting off with a wreck on 34 while Lisa and I were heading back out the KOA to greet the arrivals:

And like Mattski, said, I wish I was there, badly. I didn't realize how much I would miss being there and seeing eveyone until the meet starts the pictures start getting posted.

It sure feels strange to be so far away from someplace I have been used to being at for the last 4 years, and now, just watching it unfold on the computer.

P.S. Good to see Thomas and family made it as well, since I have YET to get a phone call from him

Last night was still pretty mellow when I went to bed @ 11:30 or so. Up a little little earlier than I wanted to be with the time change. think I'll go unload thecar and see if I can get it running a bit better.

Jared, I'm up and around, so if you need anything here, get directions and come on by. Wash it here and do your oil change. I have to have my car at the audio shop by 9, but other than that, I'll be here.

What was he doing and what size pulley was he running at the time?

Car ran like crap before he left, bad tune, 6000' elevation change. He pulleyed UP just before the bearing went.

He's shopping for a motor. We'll have to swap heads (stage 3), can't remember if he has ARP studs and MLS gaskets or not, but we'll get it done in time to race if he finds a suitable donor. As soon as he does, we'll pull out my hoist and get the tools ready.

One more afternoon shift and I'm free for the meet
I'll be leaving in the morning and hope to hit the KOA by 2 or 3ish.

Motor won't arrive until tomorrow morning from Portland. L36 bottom end failed, L67 going in.

Shelton family drove the SUV to the Coast for the day/overnight, we start the swap tomorrow afternoon (Thursday). We'll work as late as we need to.

Darn it! I missed another motor swap!

Looks like the Coast run will be only for those who don't want greasy hands.

I would have also chosen the swap over the Coast run.

Drama continues......Keven and Celin are in LaGrande OR, her car stalled with a MAF code. They're getting cleaner for it, and will try to run disconnected if that doesn't work.

Please note that the BONNEVILLE under Keven's is the car that is running the rescue.
