The bonneville is running on e85, so i guess i ought to start planning the fuel stops.

My friends that run E85 take a couple 5 gallon gas cans with them on longer trips just in case. We have a few stations around here so it shouldn't be an issue at the meet.

Looks like the likelihood of me being around is increasing. I won't know for sure yet until the end of this month but the chances are looking pretty good right now!
It'll be a miracle if the Grand Prix is done in time for this! I think it'll be close enough that I might be doing a first start during the meet!

Nick, its not quite done done, but it has run on e85. I suspect something amiss with the fuel pump so ive got another on the way. I could hear air bubbles going throigh the fpr and it wouldnt hold pressure. It would start and run alright for a few seconds but then lean out.

Did I mention I'll be there? I will. Probably Saturday. But maybe Tuesday. No Saturday.

I'm bringing a few door prizes. The people that can win them will be limited to what vehicles they have in their stable. It may be a lot of fun...or it could be a huge dud if no one has the automobiles I need someone to have. That's all I have to say about that.

If that happens we can just turn the door prize giveaway into a drinking game lol

So Brennan & Emily are out so I'll probably be going it alone this year, but looking at a Thursday evening arrival. I plan to be there one way or another but the '01 might have tossed the trans which will likely not be resolved within a month. (Nothing broken but signs of a bearing issue.) Worse comes to worse I'll toss in a JY unit to putt around on or come up in the '93 which is honestly in kind of sorry shape right now so I'd rather do the former. We'll see though.

I am looking at arriving early Friday afternoon in the Escape, but depending on how things go I might make a run home to get my car back on its wheels and bringing it back down with me.

Plans are firm now, we will be in NY until the 5th, then I work five days then off for five days. I will have the boys with me, we will be there probably Thursday and head home Sunday to get Heather from the airport. We should be in the Mutt unless the weather looks like crap in which case we will bring the Suburban with the camper.

As excited as some of you may be, I'm really feeling the pressure now! I for one can't wait for this years meet. I'm just going to throw this out there, but I can't wait to break something again!

I'm excited for this too, should be tons of fun, it always is.

Reposting what I said on Facebook. I have an autocross to run on Saturday during the day, so I'll head for Detroit right after and should make it for nightfall. Leaving Sunday afternoon. So far it looks like I'll have a friend coming with.

The car has been running great on E85. I havent done any of the interior or stereo projects i had planned on, my trunk is a disaster, the front end still sounds like a crashed tractor and i need a fuel pump o ring if i want to be able to fill it up more than 3/4 of a tank.

My car looks like a disaster but I should be in pretty good shape mechanically. I still need to do a front brake job and get an alignment done. I might end up taking Wednesday off before we leave to take care of that and get whatever cleaning/ detailing done that I can. Spare time has been hard to come by between owning a house and working stupid overtime hours. But my new tires are on and I finally found some spark plugs that aren’t giving me any KR issues. I still have a front end noise to chase down and a possible CV joint making noise but that's not anything that will leave me stranded hopefully. Oh, and I still need to get my new headlights wired up and installed

I suppose I should update that one of my friends will be coming with me to the meet. He drives and Audi but loves my bonnies so I hope he will be accepted LOL. I will for sure be ariving thursday about 6ish if all goea well then willleave monday morning. Also I shouldn't have to do anything on my 88 for the meet so I am happy to help anyone else with repairs and such, doesn't matter if I have to get dirty either! I will be bringing my polisher, pads, and what compunds I have also that ANYONE can feel free to use and practice with just ask!

Randy: whatever you don't get done on the stereo/interior just stuff in the back seat and I would be happy to help you lol!

due to my insane work schedule, I will be coming to the Wbody meet, but wont be able to come up and stay with you guys. It will be a rather quick trip for me. As of right now it looks as I wont be able to leave until sat morning and arrive just in time for the meet.

i will be looking for you guys when you arrive.
