Anti lock light
The light comes on sometimes when i'm driving, usually when the roads are salty or have wet snow and salt on them. It doesn't come on every time I drive, and if I restart the car it goes away and stays away sometimes and other times comes back on. Could it be a loose sensor? Anything I can check?

Re: Anti lock light
Are both the ABS and TRAC-OFF lights on, or just the ABS?
Check the wiring at all 4 wheel bearings for corrosion or broken wires. It could really be anything from a simple wiring issue, to a sensor issue (which is part of the wheel bearing)

Re: Anti lock light
It's just the ABS light, and the brakes seem to work the same if the light is on or off.

Re: Anti lock light
idk if it's the same issue but i had the light on for a few weeks and the abs was not working (anti-lock light only). there's a flaw in the routing of some wiring under the hood right above the tranny - the gear selector lever/linkage rubs on the wires and in my case it snapped some wire (light blue). after fixing the wire my abs works and the light is off.
hope this helps.
