Alright I know someone with a 98 bonnie se (NA). He wants to buy my HO ALT from my 97' Buick PAU. Are the connectors the same? What would be needed to make this work?
Thanks,
Bruce

Re: alternator question
I'm not sure on the connectors, but it probably wouldn't be too hard to park next to each other and pop the plugs out to look at side by side. Probably the easiest way to find out.

Re: alternator question
I know the Series 1 alternators are not interchangeable between supercharged and naturally aspirated. L27 is a 3-bolt, L67 is a 2-bolt. I can't recall if the Series 2 is the same problem. If it is, don't worry about the connector, the alternator itself won't even bolt up.

Re: alternator question
I fit my L67 alternator to the L27 when I had the '94 SSE. The only 3 bolt mountint I know of is for the S2s, and those changed styles in 99 I think.
