Boost gauge is necessary before any real power mods, and threw in an appearance mod at the time.

Tinted sidemarkers. They're the only orange on the entire car stock, and only light up with the headlights. These pieces are clear plastic with a black tint, bulbs included. Didn't want to tint orange OEM ones, and have some color present still.

Now about that boost gauge, pardon the focus.. Few extra parts as I ordered the complete pod/gauge/fitting kit, they actually double up a few things weirdly.

Mechanical Gauge sold by New South Performance. -30 in/hg to +25 PSI. They work with a gauge builder to produce these for the VW/Audi crowd, uses the exact bulbs the clusters do, font is right in line with most VAG products, and they include a silver trim ring (not pictured) to put on the dial if you choose to. I'm undecided at this point on it...
1/8th NPT fitting on back, and two wires coming out of it.

Most people pull the battery out of car, and fish the vac/pressure line from the engine bay in, I found a few people talking about how that's not all necessary (along with the CEL from battery being out a long time) and fished it from in>out.


And after dealing with some wiring issues getting the lighting to work, here's the finished product. As far as blocking existing gauges, it only covers up about 7250 and onwards on the tach, which is well past redline, and the high beam indicator. I don't really use the Highs at all with the HID's so it's a moot point. Went with this over
