Back in Da Club

Post by Twister97 »

Whats up guys. Been a while but decided to finally come back and re-introduce myself. Joined the "old" club back in 2003 or 04, really cant remember. It was fun times but I got caught up in school and work and neglected posting stuff or reading stuff about the Bonneville I had. It was a good car, basic SE model from 1997 no complaints but it was time to move on.

I still kept my same screen name as before, I use to live in Kansas and own the 97 as mentioned, but always thought it was a cool SN. Anyways, I always had my eye on those Buick Regal's and finally purchased a 2001 Black GS. Still my car as of today. I now live in my hometown of Pittsburgh, PA.

Been a lurker here for about a month and see some familiar faces and a lot of new ones which is a good healthy sign. Of course, when I set out to look for this club several months ago I was slightly confused with the split or whatever happened. Sounds like some serious drama went down. Glad to see things are back to normal on the cyber life of things.

So, am I able to transfer over my post count from the previous site? All that hard work with worthless posting I did, sure would hate to see it go down the drain for nothing. :)

Anyways, to refresh or introduce the car I use to have....

Welcome back! I used to be vital49 ever since early 2003 but changed my name when we restarted here.

One of the admins can update your post count.

Post some pics of your GS. I bought an 01 GS to replace our SE last year, too. I don't like it as much as the SE, but it does the trick for the time being.

BlackHawk99....I remember the vital SN from years past. I lurk over on RegalGS as well and I think I seen you over there too; I really dont post though. Ill get some pics tomorrow in the day of the GS.

gonzo.... As far as what happened to it, I bought my GS and actually had both of them for a little while, but couldnt afford it so I had to give up the Bonneville. I sold it to a friend, that ended up wrecking it about a year later. It was totaled from what he told me. Ill try to get some pics of it up sometime. Some of the things I did to it that I was proud included a leather seat swap from an SSE model and my hood detail with LED lights, haha...it was kinda corny but awesome at the same time!

Yea definitely. Im thinking about going up to the speedway in the Spring. My uncle has a Monte Carlo Tony Stewart edition and he thinks its God's gift to cars. There is a slight competition brewing between us, lol.

Im always down for wings too, so dont get me wrong. :)

It's my old hot-wing buddy!

For those that remember the story, Josh was a direct eyewitness with me when Ryan (SSuperchargedEi) chose NOT to wash his hands BEFORE handling Mr. Winky at the urinal when I was back in Pitt about 3 or 4 years ago.

Welcome back man! Just seeing you logged in reminded me of that horrendously funny episode! Unforgettable!

I'll get your post count updated sometime tonight......gotta find that old spreadsheet, and searching for it is much better done at home with a pint of beer.

Thanks buddy. Surprised you still have Zilla though! I remember when you were in Pittsburgh that you said you were trading it in for that Prius...something about it having a better top end speed or something like that. :bsnicker:

And yes, Ryan's wing episode was hilarious!
