My 1992 Civic/Teg? Look inside.

Post by Danno »

The civic is ricetastic and I sadly only have these two crappy pictures of it. Its a 1993 Sedan, DX (lowest model), previous owner thought integras looked better so he stuck an integra front end on it.

It's cheap, I've got turbo parts, it will be quick and hopefully eventually will be de-riced.

I think it has a lot of potential. Very cool project IMO. Keep us updated.

nice. Reminds me of my GSR.

Also looks like a 98-01 front end, so if you are in the Northeast and decide to get rid of it, let me know.

Is it, Geoff? I can barely make out the surrounding of the high beam headlight. Looks like the 94-97 version to me. :???:

Will do :beerchug:

I think its from like a 96 teg? Basically got rearended, they ripped off some parts, scrapped the rest and made a profit on it. Can't beat that, I suppose.

I really have to do something about this exhaust though. Straight exhaust on a 4 banger is giving me a headache.

It doesn't' look too bad. Get rid of the steelies, paint it black, put in the turbo and call it good. Oh, and fix the exhuast. Angry bees does not make a car sound faster.

The sound gave me such a bad headache I had to go to bed early. The steelies might stay, since I don't care much for rims, unless I can find some cheap oem 14's or something. Bought a 14b, downpipe and front mount intercooler last night so its well on its way.

Hrm... guess I was wrong. Already got a 96 front end.

And yes, a straight exhaust is a killer on the ears. I have an OEM one on my integra and that's plenty loud for me.

Where are you located?

I live in Western PA, north of pittsburgh.

BTW, I have a turbo, downpipe, oil lines, intercooler and wastegate on the way to my doorstep, and a friend of mine wants to try his hand at making me a manifold, so I might have most of my parts here/done by friday :beerchug:

Buddy of mine has a project going on exactly like yours lol. I thought it was interesting that you could swap front ends...
