well he's in michigan... so about the same as me in MN i would imagine. I love my goodyear triple treds. Excellent in dry / rain. Havent tested them in snow yet, but the reviews were very good.

If anybody knows a company that have good deals on tires, hola at me. I think discounttires.com got good deals. but i still have to check others.

just look around online... It would be quicker than waiting for a response. Or even better yet, call around. We can't tell you as accurately or as quickly what a local shop will charge as the local shop themselves.

Do yourself a favor and get a second set of wheels so you can have winter tires and summer tires. That way you are safer in the winter when it snows and the summer tires will last longer and give you more traction for the 7 or 8 months they are on the car. You can get 16" rims for the winter and keep your 17" rims for the summer.

LOL, you must live in California. Its more like 7-8 months of crappy winter driving here.

Getting tires that will be good in the winter and leaving them on all year is what most do around here.

I have Pirelli P-zero nero tires on my car and they handle GREAT in dry and wet conditions. This is the first time winter I will have them, but others have said good things. I got mine for 85 dollars a tire. at a local shop. so for 350$ I got them mounted and balanced. they are sized 235/45/17

I have heard that good year triple treads are also very good tires for all around. I see those everywhere.

hey lax, you think you can give me the address to the place you got your tires. I live in Detroit, i cant seem to find a good deal. I am thinking of getting all season tires as well, because im the summer, i might be getting GXP rims and tires. maybe.

The thing is, i have the grand prix five star rims on my bonne, They look alright but not to good, because there only 16's. they look small on my car. So, i will definetly keep these for the winter and buy some 18's rims/tires for spring and summer.

I dont know exactly what brand. When they told me on the phone, i heard "rt rader" somthing like that. I repeated that name to them on the phone and they said yea thats the brand. I dont know if i didnt hear them correctly or if thats a new brand.

But for 4 new tires (all season) - Free alignment - Free balance ------- $280 is a good deal.

I personally would spend more to get some good, well known tires.
I had triple treads on my toyota highlander suv, and that think owned in the snow.

LOL. already checked it out, and price is high. I'd rather go to one of my local shops and get new ones for way less. Thanks though.

I'll get new ones with balance and alignment.
