Post by Hunt4RedOctober »

when i try to steart my car it doesnt wanna start all the time i replaced the ignition switch and the battery still same problems but if i sit there and turn the key a couple hundred time it finall starts the lock and tumbler are operating properly . . . .and i checked the current running from the yellow wire that goes to the switch every thing has juice coming out of the switch i checked it all the way to where the switch connects to the fire wall the yellow wire has juice only when you turn the key like it is supposed to but then when i whent to the back side of the fire wall under the engine compartment when i turn the key i get nothing until it finally catches..... i think it might b a short between where it connects into the harness up to the firewall some where now does any one also know if there is an inline fuse behind the dash for the yellow or starter enabler :bstooges:

Sounds like you have an intermitten break in connection with the yellow wire. I had that problem on a Cadillac I worked on once. I just ran a new wire. Pretty sure it is just a standard wire, no fuses or anything in it.
Needs more blower whine!
