I wonder if the rubber "piping" around the headlight can be painted as well. The black is a bit distracting and disrupts the smooth look...

otherwise, love it.

That's something I was wondering about too, because it is rather distracting and breaks up the look. I actually thought about this a couple weeks ago but didn't think it would look right....we'll see though :)

Is there any chance of heat building up inside the housing and affecting the paint?

thought the same, I guess we will find out soon enough.

also my only draw back. But... what you cant see, the HL is only "sitting" back together
they are not clipped which makes the rubber edge stand out more.but its like a 1/4 inch or so.
so maybe it will "blend more. I dont know :P

day pics coming soon.

I'm on the fence! I don't absolutely love it, but I don't dislike it!

I know I couldn't do it on my car as anything other than the stock black would look :ack: lol

I would leave the rubber as-is. If you start painting that, its just gonna get messy looking.

I love it!

my only idea for the rubber paint is something like hot tires, and that would be really hard to make uniform.

It almost makes the glass disappear! Very cool, but I dont think this would look good on anything but a white car.

Looks nice Jim.

I wonder if Crimson would look ok?

There are paint markers for tires to paint the raised letters. Maybe try one of those. Longevity would be questionable though. But since it's not a rotating tire, maybe it would last longer.
