This is the place to plan and find out about any meets in your area. Meets of Any size can be discussed here. PLAN your Meet here, then start a new topic for attendees after the details are worked out.
I've been putting together these meets for the Northern IL w-body club members for the last couple of years. We usually have 4-6 meets a year, and there's a decent chunk of members in this general area, so we always have a decent turnout. We also get all kinds of cars. In fact, one of our members recently bought a Bonneville GXP, and he's brought it to the last couple meets. So being I'm a GM enthusiast in general, I figured I'd extend the invitation to the Bonneville club, too. The details are provided in the link below. Please let me know if you can attend, and what you're willing to bring from the list of things needed in the 2nd link (post #6).

I'm planning on being there. Gonna detail the crap out of the ride. Looking at the other posts, I see Cookies are still open to bring. I can pick up some if you still need them.

You'd better be there! It's like 15 - 20 minutes from you tops. And we're usually there pretty late. Truth be told, even though it starts at 12, most usually don't get there till about 1 or 1:30. We chat for a good hour or so, so we don't end up even starting to cook till 2 or 3. Then we continue to hang out there till 6 or 7. So by all means, there's plenty of time if you show up a bit later.

BTW, it looks like there's a 20% - 30% chance of rains and storms tomorrow. Not to worry. If it gets ugly, we can resort to plan B (the Fuddrucker's we always meet at in the colder weather meets is <10 minutes away from there), so don't let that deter you.

If it's raining, plan on me not coming. If I were able to stay the whole day, then I'd still hang out with ya'll, but I can only stay for an hour.
I'll be there, just gave the car a quick 1 hr wash and wipedown. My punctuality isn't usually the best and i'm going to have a few/alot of beers at a buddies house right now, but anything else need to be brought?
I think most everything is covered. Maybe another bag of chips, or cookies, or something of that nature.
