My 1999 SSEi failed to start today after sitting a few weeks and it seems its the fuel pump. Spraying a bit of gas in the intake gets the car to start for a second or two, so ignition is working.
I removed the fuel filter and turned the key to run, and nothing comes out of the fuel line. I cant be sure if I can hear the fuel pump noise, but if it was then it was very quiet.
Anyways I was reading the post: https://www.pontiacbonnevilleclub.com/f ... c4515.html which mentions a green primer connector by the battery. Looking all around the battery I cannot see anything like it. Does the 99 SSEi have this connector?
If anyone knows, under the car by the tank, which connector goes to the fuel pump, and what is the wiring for the connector?
Thank you!
