I have a 1998 SSEi which needs the heater core replaced.
Can anyone give me an idea of the cost of doing this?
Thanks,
Jim

Re: SSEi heater core replacement
If the dash has to come out like I think it does probably $500-$1000+ and I'd say probably closer to the high end of that for a shop to do it. I've done one on a Silverado for a family member and I still charged him $400 and it took the entire weekend to remove the dash replace the core, reinstall the dash and hook everying back up under the dash.

Re: SSEi heater core replacement
I'm not sure on price but I didn't need to take the dash out when I replaced the heater core on my 95. It should be the same 92-99.
