Cowl Hood

Post by AndrewRobinson21 »

I'm trying to find a Cowl hood for my 02 and can't seem to find one. Does anyone know where to find one at?

It would have to be custom. The only custom hood I remember seeing is this one.

Definitely would have to be custom built. I remember seeing the following post of a member who modified a junkyard 00-05 front bumper with the bottom off of a 92-95 or something like that. He made his own hood too & it looks awesome.

Unfortunately, he hasn't posted here since 2018, so it's unlikely that he can provide advice if you want to build your own. Even then, it seems like you just want to buy one already made.

The only reason I remember seeing the post is because I saved the picture he had of the car. It looks so good.

I always feel like the hood is missing a little something and that treatment on the white Bonneville looks amazing. Reminds me of the ram air Grand Ams they made around the same time.

I also wouldn't be opposed to some vents instead, like on the SLP Firehawk hoods.

The only thing standing in the way is a complete lack of bodywork skills. Lol. Better get started I guess.
