Radiator Replacement 05 GXP

Post by Sullivan »

Had my radiator crack on me last night so I am going to need to replace it. I had one of the parts stores near me order one and it will be ready for pick-up in about 2.5 hours. I know a decent amount of stuff about cars and I do a lot of work on my own but I can't find a good source of info for doing this job. I just want to know what I'm getting into and make sure I have everything I need before I start. Any help is appreciated.

Once you remove the airbox and the upper radiator support brace with the 4-15mm bolts, you'll have lots of room to do the job. The fans are just 2-10mm bots and the condenser is also 2-10mm bolts. Burping the coolant system will be the most challenging part.
