I wish I knew what they were saying!

Post by olblueeyesbonne »

Last night I stopped at Taco Bell for some supper on the way home from work. I decided to go inside and order since I hate their cheesy drive-thru attitudes.
I went inside and placed my order. I had parked right outside the door, which was to the left of the counter.
As I was finishing placing my order a middle aged couple exited and proceeded to walk around my car (he walked past the passenger side and she the drivers side).
I don't know why I looked, but just as I looked the guy was at the rr door and seemed to have taken a sudden notice of the car. He stopped walking, looked back down the side of the car, said something to his wife, and as he was looking at the car he got a nice smile on his face, one of satisfaction. =P~
He then proceeded around to the back of the car where he met his wife (?). They stood there for probably 15 seconds and he was pointing at something on the back of my car, or the lack thereof.
They then turned and proceeded across the parking lot to their Chevy truck, but all the way to the truck they were looking over their shoulders. :hello2:

I checked the back of the car when I went back out to the car, but I don't know what they were looking at.
I do think the extremely good wash and polish I got last Friday, followed by a premium soft-cloth wash just 5 minutes before I arrived at Taco Bell really made the car look good, but I can't say that's what they were talking about, but then again maybe they were.

I'm sure they were just admiring it. I've seen it, and it is worthy of admiration! :hail: Either that or they had one like yours and were recalling something they did in the back seat! :nono:

I went to see Indiana Jones tonight, and I was sitting in my car collecting my stuff before getting out of my car to go in. I looked up and saw a couple walk in front of a red Bonneville (mid '90s SE - not mine) and stop, look at it, and then take a picture with their cell phone. Then they walked in. I figured there was something on the car to make it unusual in some way, so when I left I looked to see if the car was still there. Sure enough it was! So, I drove in front of it on my way out, and it looked like nothing special... I have no clue what that was about. lol

I saw a guy looking over my car too one day, ironically, at Taco Bell as well. He came out of his Firebird when he saw mine. He pointed at it and said something to his friend. Not sure what.

I was waiting in a parking lot once when a guy was passing on my side going to the store. He took a quick glance at the badge, then again for a second look. He probably caught the "supercharged" part. :D

the only thing people stare at on my car is the broken fender and mis-matched paint.

My grandfather and mom love my car, but i still can't convince them to drop their fords and get one. My grandfather really likes the exhaust sound and the gutted air box sound.
