I just realized there isn't a thread for Woodward this year. So here it is.

August 19th but it's pretty much the whole week before. I'm for sure going, and maybe a few others.
Lane, I know you want to go, but I also see that the CHC Egyptian nights event is the same weekend.

Yea, unfortunately with now having the other house and the second portion of taxes on it being due, I won't be coming out this year.

I'm going to go. My MO is to go on either Friday or Saturday or both, then if there's enough people interested I'll throw a bonfire Saturday night.

Yea, unfortunately here in the land of corruption and over taxation, we keep getting bent over, but my pay isn't increasing commensurately... On July 1st, in Crook County, another tax is being levied on beverages... A 2-liter bottle of coke that was once $.90, now becomes $1.80.

And yet our politicians don't get why people are leaving... Crime, over taxation, stupid levels of traffic 24/7, *shoot* weather...

Even for Lou's annual shindig, with other commitments I have going on that day, I may be "fashionably late".

Tim and I are talking about joining. Like I mentioned, we'd probably leave that Thursday evening and stay til Sunday morning. That would give us at least Friday and Saturday to enjoy the festivities.

I could do a mini meet style event. My place would be available Friday night through Sunday morning. I can't take any time off for it though, so not sure if I could work a Thursday night in.

I would say I'd try to be prepared to make it to this but already have plans for family vacation that week at the beach in North Carolina and then leaving the beach early to go watch IMSA Sports Cars at VIR that weekend.

TGP, Regal, or truck: not sure yet. Something about sitting in stop and go traffic in the GP with 2.41 gears doesn't sound like much fun lol

Yeah I definitely agree, it's just a lot of money unless I get super lucky and find one in the junkyard.

I can either spend the $700 in parts alone and get an LSD and gears for my 26 spline 7.5" 10 bolt and save some money but worry about it breaking down the line,
build the 8.5" 10 bolt I have for it (would need a carrier, bearings, new axles, and who knows what else) and I would also need to get conversion control arms and a proper length driveshaft. That would probably run at least $1500 for all of that...

I want to do something there for it, but I think I'll just cross my fingers and hope I find something cheaper on craigslist or at a junkyard for it.
