2000 SE EGR outlet line vacuum leak

I have a vacuum leak in the tube that goes from the EGR to the intake manifold where the metal outlet line joins the EGR. Does the intake need to come off to change this tube? Also could I use RTV to seal up this vacuum leak as a temp fix?

hi, it gets hot so you would need very high temp sealer and the tube pulls out with medium force
poverty forces one to do unorthodox things
