Exhaust repair question
I`ve got a 2000 SSEi and the connection between the front pipe and the cat is shot. Does anyone make a repair kit and if not what is the least expensive way to repair without replacing the original mufflers, etc.?

Re: Exhaust repair question
you would get under and clean rot rust. then you get the small adapter fitting and connect them - use some jbweld on the joints and let fully cure - sould be good
yeah, a small length pipe that fits the down pipe and then another that fits the adapter end diameter into the cat.

Re: Exhaust repair question
you can get a downpipe from ZZP and have it welded to your existing cat.. Upgrade and a repair at the same time... or a Salvage yard. Another guy used to make a bolt in downpipe that connected to the stock flanges, IDK if he does or not... Search Pontiac Bonneville Downpipe on google.

Re: Exhaust repair question
Hogan used to make a DP that bolted up to the flange behind the stock cat. They're not in business that I'm aware of anymore. I had a ZZP DP welded in with a high flow cat for $60, plus $180 for the DP (brand new, bought off another member) and $75 for the cat. You can probably just go to a muffler shop and have them weld in a new piece of pipe if a simple repair is all you're after.
