I can't for the life of me get these to come out of the fenders. Any trick to free up that ball joint? I've pulled and twisted so hard I'm afraid I'm going to break them.
Thinking about removing the inner wheel wells to get at it and spray them with PB Blaster. Never seen any so stubborn.

Yeah I saw that. Just says what I already know tho. The ball joint is corroded and pull like hell which just isn't doing it.96 SSEi wrote:hi, this may help.............http://www.pontiacbonnevilleclub.com/fo ... =42&t=9348
Probably going to h a ve b to pull the wheel wells and access it from there. Spray it with pb blaster and tap it out if necessary I guess.

Re: Removing headlight assembly
I have had some stubborn one's in my day, and 98% of the time I just need that extra oomph when I think I'm going to break it and it comes free. But the other 2%...yea then you need new socket-clip-thingies.

Well I was removing the plastic wheel well liner on one side anyway to install my FWI. I just removed both sides and sprayed some pb blaster on them and let them sit a half hour. They came out a little easier. I cleaned them up good and shot them again before reinstalling.
