Clearing SES Light

Post by gk35 »

1994 Bonneville. This is the OBD Transition year. Vehicle has OBDII connector but OBDI coding. SES light is on. TunerPro RT shows error codes but cannot clear SES. I tried disconnecting battery for several minutes and did not clear SES light.

Anyone else have any ideas on how to turn off the SES light after making repairs?

Try leaving the battery disconnected for a few hours, or over night. A few minutes like you said might not be enough to do it.
