Twice now my electric radiator fans have drained my battery dead as a doornail. They don't seem to want to turn off. Would this be caused by a faulty sensor? I can't figure out why they would just run after the car was turned off till the battery died. I have disconnected one fan, but this is obviously a temporary partial fix. Any help would be appreciated here!
Note I did just have a stereo installed and lost the lights for the HVAC controls. Could this be related? Could they have somehow shorted something or clipped a wire?

Re: Help!!!! Radiator fans won't turn off!
It's possible a wire was clipped or grounded that shouldn't have been. I would check the high and low speed fan relays under the maxifuse relay center cover on the firewall. Switch them around and see if the behavior changes (speed or running at all)
