Hi everybody!
I haven't done anything with my Bonneville since I put in the new passenger window regulator and the new parking brake in May. It has been driving beautifully and I have been enjoying carving up the traffic in my Bonnie. Today, however, I let my wife drive it into Seattle. She had been curious about the car for a couple months. After driving it today she fell completely in love with it so I gave it to her as a new daily driver. Her 2002 Sunfire is now headed to our daughter who needs a car for college, which she will be starting in September. I'm not without a car, however. Shortly after I bought the Bonneville in April I came across a 1998 LeSabre Limited with only 87,000 miles on it. It was too good of a deal to pass up for $3000 so I bought it. Now my wife has the Bonneville, I have another LeSabre, and our daughter has my wife's old Sunfire. Everyone in the family is happy.
This means I'll have to do a little more work on the Bonnie, though, because I had put a really nice stereo in the Sunfire and my wife expects that in the Bonnie. I was fine with the stock GM head unit but she wants something fancy. I'll also have to replace the center console armrest because it's worn out. All in all, though, I'm glad she loves the Bonneville. It's a superb car and I much prefer riding in it over the Sunfire when we go anywhere. I also like driving a LeSabre again. It doesn't quite handle like the Bonnie but it's soft and comfy and I don't hit my head on the roof like I did in the Bonneville.

Re: My Wife's New Love
I'm hoping to get the wife onboard with the Bonneville too...
A temporary fix does not exist. It becomes a solution until it needs to be fixed again.

Unfortunately I let my wife drive the G8
; now the SSEi isn't good enough and she demanded a trade. In a stroke of compassion for humanity I stood firm and denied swapping cars with her.
I consider the act a public service. She will have to be content sitting in the passenger set making comments like "You just got beat by a MINI-VAN!", to which I can reply "And he didn't even know we were racing.".

Re: My Wife's New Love
Sad thing is, now that I have the old RGC in "respectable" condition, I have to give it up tomorrow. The new RGC is going into the dealership for some warranty work...Sirius wrote:CMNTMXR57 wrote:Oh, that was you? Fear the RGC.
