Greetings from Washington State

Post by Yagyu »

Heya, just bought a '97 Bonneville SSEi the other week, well taken care of, quite a few mods done by the previous owner. Was running a little rough, got a new MAF sensor installed and tightened up a few bolts here and there, now she runs perfectly! I spent a couple months lurking this forum trying to decide if this was the right car for me and reading your posts convinced me. No regrets, I like this car better than any other I've driven. Looking forward to at least a few years with my new Bonne.

Was that the white Bonneville for sale up in Skagit County? I saw it on Craigslist. In any event, how do you like it?

Yeah, that was the one. It's been great, other than the MAF sensor everything was in perfect shape when I got it and that was a quick fix. It's one of my favorite cars I've ever driven so far.

You got a steal of a deal on that car. I checked it out and considered buying it but I opted for the 2000 Bonneville SSEi that was only a couple miles from my house. I'm really impressed by my Bonneville. It's a solid car and handles like it's on rails. The supercharged 3.8 is really peppy. It's a very impressive car.

Yeah, that's been my experience too. Couple of little quirks but the best car I could have gotten for the money.
