Greetings from Washington State
Heya, just bought a '97 Bonneville SSEi the other week, well taken care of, quite a few mods done by the previous owner. Was running a little rough, got a new MAF sensor installed and tightened up a few bolts here and there, now she runs perfectly! I spent a couple months lurking this forum trying to decide if this was the right car for me and reading your posts convinced me. No regrets, I like this car better than any other I've driven. Looking forward to at least a few years with my new Bonne.

Was that the white Bonneville for sale up in Skagit County? I saw it on Craigslist. In any event, how do you like it?

Welcome!
Re: Greetings from Washington State
Yeah, that was the one. It's been great, other than the MAF sensor everything was in perfect shape when I got it and that was a quick fix. It's one of my favorite cars I've ever driven so far.Toby Hanson wrote:Was that the white Bonneville for sale up in Skagit County? I saw it on Craigslist. In any event, how do you like it?

You got a steal of a deal on that car. I checked it out and considered buying it but I opted for the 2000 Bonneville SSEi that was only a couple miles from my house. I'm really impressed by my Bonneville. It's a solid car and handles like it's on rails. The supercharged 3.8 is really peppy. It's a very impressive car.Yagyu wrote:Yeah, that was the one. Yeah, that's been my experience too. Couple of little quirks but the best car I could have gotten for the money.
