Back on the road again.....with a vengeance!

Post by 2000Silverbullet »

Well I'm fully invested again with the Bullet! 44,000 miles on her now!
:bwoohoo:
After last springs OverKill tune finally destroyed the 16 years old transaxle, I decided not to scrap it and spent mucho peso's on a rebuild, new tires and now replacing the ancient sound system.

I must say I am truly impressed with the power this car puts down down. I seems much stronger in all rpm ranges. Torque steer is prevalent in 1st gear and the 2nd gear start feature really smokes the balonies!!
Probably good for a 12.9 quarter now.....but no more racing for this old man!

I am leaving the 3.4" pulley on to maintain my 30 mpg highway mileage with more than satisfactory power and no need to cool with methanol injection.
The 6.2 Denali only gets 13 mpg in the city :( and 17 on the highway ouch.

It will now finally become my daily driver......as soon as the new head unit is cut in and sub installed next week.

Total spent - $6,500 Cdn ($5,000 US)..... about what it's worth now.
I think I made a good decision over buying a new car for $65,000

Nice!

And yep, that's what my Denali gets, 13 city and 17-18 highway. Doesn't matter how you drive it...
Bye Bye:

Nope, got traded on the truck. Because at this point making money is more important than spending it, LOL.
