random rough idle at hot and cold startups

random rough idle at hot and cold startups

Hey guys, after a warm run car idles rough when I start it, does shut off sometimes. Does it rarely after overnight startup too. I tried searching some of the posts, no luck. Thinking egr valve. Any ideas, thanks.

hi, are you throwing any codes? is the check engine light on dash?
just for giggles, please unplug the MAF sensor and see if it improves
poverty forces one to do unorthodox things

Fuel pressure regulator might be another possibility.
