Yet more problems with my GXP. MAP sensor location

Post by NashvilleGXP243 »

Replaced #1 cylinder coil and spark plug 2 weeks ago. Now 3 more problems have cropped up. 1. MAP sensor code 2. EGR code 3. Secondary Air Valve code. Where is the MAP sensor located? From what I've read, it's either under the intake manifold, or on the firewall, anybody know? I have $1,000 to go before this car is paid for. High bid gets it. Pontiac G8 GT, or another 2005-2006 GTO is next. I'm sick of this Bonneville GXP. It's a money pit!!!!

It's on top of the manifold, just behind the TB. There is a metal bracket the kind of mounts over it.

Good choices on replacements. How much do you want for this?

I don't know what a fair price is for it. It has almost 178k on it. The body and paint are great. Great interior, HVAC blows cold, every switch and power windows and the HUD work perfectly. It's Cosmos Silver. Find me on Facebook, I'm Jeff Burns. I have the Thunderbirds F-16's lined up as my avatar. There's pics of it on there
