Hi
i have replaced the engine on a 95 bonneville.
at this point the engine will run on starting fluid but there is no signal at the injectors
the car has never run before in my posession so there may be other things wrong with it
there are three extra wires that i have not yet figured out where they go
one is coming from the ignition module harness right below the module, black with a white stripe, it has some sort of crimp on which was ripped off
two more are coming out next to the ignition module but they are protruding from an adjacent cable
two white wires crimped (and of course the crimp is ripped from whatever it once was attached to)
two black wires also crimped together
when i attach a lamp between ground and either of the two pairs the auxiliary fan comes on and the fuel pump comes on
at the moment the engine will turn over and run on propane / ether but the injectors do not click
the injectors are getting +12v but the pcm is not grounding them
when i attach the lamp to either of the wire pairs the led i placed on the injectors lights

Thanks for the help

Those loose wires go to the Ignition Control Module and should be in a connector that goes into the base of the ICM. - BC

Looks like a hacked up remote start install, might need the wire diagrams for the car and the device to sort it out.
The other thing to look into is that the theft deterrent system is working properly, but even then I think it should initially startup.

Re: 95 bonneville no injectors + extra wires
I inspected the ICM connector, it was fully populated
after some electrical testing i decided to try hard grounding all 3 (or 5 depending on how you look at it) wires and the car immediatley started.
apparently the bulb was dropping too much voltage to run the injectors but it pointed me in the right direction
its funny how such a popular engine with such a cult following has zero proper schematics on the google
