Leather seats

I am looking to swap my se from cloth to leather. What is the difference between as7 and a51? On the site I'm on they are both listed as bucket seats.

The GM Master RPO document I have shows AS7 as "SEAT, FRT SPLIT" and A51 as "SEAT, FRT BUCKET CUSTOM". What site are you looking at? Are you planning to swap the entire seat, or just the covering?

I found an SLE with gray leather, no suede insert of course and the RPO is:

932 TRIM COMBINATION LEATHER, VERY DK GRAY (2) (97) (CLCD PONT "H") (932)

These RPO's should help you to understand the seat options. There are a couple of other for 'Taupe' and 933 includes the suede inserts on the GXP but that won't really affect what you're looking for I don't think.

So as suspected, I did find a 2005 SE without bucket seats and it has the following RPO codes:

AS7 SEAT,55-45 FRONT SPLIT FRT SPLIT ST(AS7)
AK5 RESTRAINT SYSTEM,FRONT SEAT,INFLATABLE,DRIVER AND PASSENGER DRIVER & PASS F/SEAT INFL RST SYS(AK5)

** AK5 Does not have side impact air bags (front only). Just found a 2004 SLE with this same RPO and the photos confirm they are absent.
