Best Summer/Rain Tires?
I just bought a set of gxp rims that I'm going to use as my summer rims, but I have to buy tires for them. I have a dedicated set of rims with snow tires so I don't exactly need/want all season tires. So I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions as to a good type of tires that has good summer performance but is also very good in rainy conditions. On my current SSEi rims I have Cooper CS4's and they are absolutely horrendous in wet conditions, they hydroplane over the smallest puddles
... I want something that will shed water fairly well...

HI, for all round to aggressive driving use, I give the Bridgestone Turanza Infinity the nod
traction A- great in dry and highway wet
temperature A- tire feel is consistent and no vagueness after extended back-road bashing
and treadwear is 740- will last many years - I think its 80 - 100k rated
and to boot: they can handle 8 inches of snow if you take it easy!!!!
great tire!!! highly recommended!!!

I loved the Hankook Ventus V12 Evo2's I had on the G8. Great all-around High Performance Summer tires.

I would check out the BFGoodrich g-force sport comp-2. Decent price and directional tread to help resist hydroplaning if you see a lot of rain. Though the Hankook's mentioned also have a directional tread pattern too.
