carbon fiber headliner?

next month is my birthday and I'm going to repair my headliner and fix my sunroof as my birthday present was wanting to know what you all think about a carbon fiber headliner instead of going back to factory

I think that would be pretty hard, is there even such a thing as carbon fiber pattern headliner cloth? I don't think it would look right if you vinyl wrapped the headliner board and sunshade. It would probably be a bit louder inside the car too. I would try to go for the stuff that newer cars come with if you can find it.

If you're talking about a carbon fiber adhesive backed film wrap, I think that would turn out pretty bad.

If you were talking about re-skinning it with a real carbon fiber cloth and resin, and finishing it for a proper carbon fiber gloss finish, I think that could turn out interesting. Might be a little difficult to re-fit any hard plastic parts so they don't gap, and I'm not sure if the backboard is structural enough to not deform (and solidify deformed) during the process.
