The cruise is this weekend

It sounds like it's just going to be a few of us, anybody else going? I don't know any other groups going. I think I'd like to cruise on saturday, not sure what time is good so that there isn't as much traffic, would like to sit with a group.

I'll be there on Saturday all day. We're leaving here around 9am (hour long drive). I'll be shotgun in my buddy's Livernois-tuned G8 though. Plan to hit up a few of the car shows, like Dodge's Hellcat lot at some point.
I'm sure I'll end the day in Pontiac though... Last year we got to see a Mustang climb a tree in front of the Discount Tire over there.

If I do drive up, is there a spot you all usually park? Would I be able to leave the car there while cruising? That G8 is too much fun compared to my stock Bonne.

I don't think you can leave it at the ligenfelter place but as far as by Woodward you could leave it near a spot where we sit but that's kind of a last minute deal depending on where we find a spot. You probably wouldn't be able to open up the G8 too much anyway, as it's a big traffic jam.

The G8 guys will rent that little shrine place at Woodward and 12 mile on Friday. Behind there (and the iHop is a parking lot). On Saturday you should be able to park there if you get there early enough.

We'd also set up camp with the V guys up in Bloomfield Hills at Woodward, just south of Big Beaver. There are several large lots back there.

I didn't plan on leaving it at Lingenfelter, just wasn't sure if you guys set up a "base camp" anywhere.. We've been able to open the car up a few places every year, especially closer to Pontiac. It's got such a mean growl that even a quick mash and let off sounds evil

That is the "V" group I was referring to. We end up there every year. It's a great location because it's right at a stop light...
