My dad's like new, new ride

Post by MARCTHEDUBBS »

As some of you have seen, way back in 2005 my dad bought a new Dodge Magnum SXT. He used his car to drive a lot for work and rolled up 300,000 miles in the first 7 years. They have since changed things so for the past 3 years he spent most of the time in loaner cars. Hence, he's got about 330,000 on it now. He really likes his Magnum, but it's getting old and full of gremlins.

So a couple weeks ago my brother, who works at a Chrysler dealership, told him to come check out this car they just got in on trade. A 2006 Magnum SXT, it had a couple more options check marked on the build sheet, sunroof, heated leather seats, upgrade wheels and a few chrome bits. But the best part...35,500 miles.

I asked my dad how much my brother sold it to him for. His response, "I don't know, I just signed for it"

Not the greatest pics, I was lazy and didn't want to pull it out of the garage.

Nice! He sure got good use out of the last one. Looks like as well optioned as you could get an SXT without buying the R/T....it's got everything including all the R/T appearance items except no Hemi. Like the color combo too. We love our 300 and will definitely buy another when it's time to upgrade in a couple years....our 2010 already has 153k.

great find. not many around in "like new" condition with production terminated in 2008. - BC
EDIT: in 2004, 5 , 6 and 7 looks like production was at or more than the CTS. - BC
