I was not as happy with the snow handling of my DWS tires on my 04 GXP. I used to run Dunlop Signature on my 02 SSEi and I felt they were much better. No complaints about handling and feel on dry or wet roads.

I was just out on Tire Rack as I will probably need a new DW for the front of the V (it is humming, kinda sounding like a bad wheel bearing which is common on STS's), and when I put the DWS's on last fall, it went away. Put the DW's on this spring and it's back. So it's something with one (I'm thinking the drivers front), tire.

Anyway, Continental now has a new version of the DWS out. It is called the Extreme Contact DWS 06.

hi, you may want to consult with your insurance company cause some give you a 20% discount for using snow tires

I would recommend the Bridgestone Turanza Infinity for all season:

traction A, temperature A, 740 treadwear

they are impressive in dry and wet and can handle 8 inches of snow if you take it easy
poverty forces one to do unorthodox things
