What compression testers do you guys like the best? How much should a quality tester run cost-wise?
Daily Driver: 2003 Silver Bonneville SE - 288,000 miles and climbing
Wife's Car: 2004 Gold GMC Envoy 4.2L 4x4
Yard work/ Hunting/ Tow truck: 1995 Blue GMC Ext. Cab, Short Bed Sierra SL, 305 w/ 5spd "Papa's Truck"

Not sure where you are located, but you can rent one from my local Advance Auto. Not sure if that's a nation wide thing.

if you do decide to buy I suggest one with a rubber quick connect fitting instead of a screw in fitting.

Note if you pull the injectors to obserbe fuel delivery...make sure you leave the plugs in and disconnect the ign. Believe me

I think I can rent one from the parts house near me. I may go that route.

We have a Craftsman one that came with a big set of tools we bought off Craigslist. Used it a fair amount and it's held up fine.
