IIRC, in Central Indiana, February 1960, it was -20F for 22 days straight and the snow drifted to the tops of the roofs of the houses. Ooooppps. I forgot, you weren't born yet. LOL!! = BC

Thanks for the compliments :)

People still talk about 1978 when the snow was deep and dense enough for cattle to walk over fences. I haven't heard the stories about 1960. I'm a 1985 model, turned 30 today 8-[

Super nice car. Perhaps I am a bit prejudiced for the vintage/version of the Bonneville. I hope mine looks as nice again before the year is out.

As far as '78 goes...

I had a '66 Plymouth Fury III that winter. Living in Dayton, OH. Was out on a date during the big snow, and got stuck in an alley heading to a parking area at the bistro/bar/restaurant. I started to get out, telling my date how to use the brake and gas to help with rocking, but she refused to drive. Instead, she insisted that she was strong enough to push the car. The look on her face meant any discussion was pointless. :eek2:

She was right. I knew how to rock the car with the engine/trans/brakes, and she was indeed strong enough to push as much as was needed. A school teacher. Some kind of renaissance woman.... Living life as a great adventure. I was just a whistle stop along the tracks. Haven't thought about that blizzard in years.

Meh, spent some time in photoshop with yesterday's pic but couldn't replicate the dubs. Here's a pic of the truck instead.

Yeah since when is 30 old? I hit 40 next year and still wonder when I'm going to feel my age other than physically (that happened a long time ago, too much motocross in my 20's)

Amazing comparison on the car. I sure hope mine holds up that well!
