Kia Soul that is... Traded her off on this little gem. 2015 Impreza 2.0i Premium. Alloys, heated seats, spoiler, Starlink (their version of Sync.) So far I love it. The CVT ist taking some getting used to, but I certainly don't hate it as much as I thought I would.

Well, it was a Soul... This is just a much nicer car... More refined, better put together, drives a million times better than the Kia, plus the Soul was just getting old fast... And I just got a raise at work so a treat was in order lol

I haven't driven the Impreza, but the latest Forester, Legacy, and WRX CVT I've piloted all have well-tuned units that step ratios and don't feel like your CVTs of old (cough cough, Nissan). I could totally live with one.

Kicked it down on the interstate yesterday at 75, the "downshift" felt like a very solid automatic shifting down and putting itself right in the power band, I was very impressed.

We had a Soul as a rental car a few years ago. we thought it quite the ugliest car we had ever driven, but to make up for its looks it could .......... Hmm... let me see.... no, it was completely underwhelming in every particular.
