Remote start and front defroster

Remote start and front defroster

Post by Rubidon »

I have had my remote starter all summer and it works great, now i want it to turn on the front defroster now that it is cold and snowing. My car has the auto climate in it and the remote start is a viper 4105. Any ideas?

Just remember to click the front button before you exit the car. Then the next morning, the auto climate will start out in front defrost mode.

Are you sure the defrost will stay on once you turn off the car? I think mine goes back to the auto setting.

That's because you can program the ACC to go to a certain Temp and Vent with different Keys. I have mine Set OFF with Key #1 and in AUTO with key #2

Does this set when you set the number buttons on the door panel?
